Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act gives all employees, not just union members, the right to collectively address the terms and conditions of their employment. Sounds innocent enough, doesn't it? But this law has become the platform for the employee to excuse outrageous behavior inside the workplace and out -- and the platform to sue non-union employers. This month's HR Lunch & Learn will explain NLRA's Section 7 and the anatomy of a Section 7 claim as it relates to non-union employers.
Doors open at 11:30 for networking and lunch. Presentation from 12:00-1:00pm. Q&A session from 1:00-1:15pm.
