April HR Law Lunch & Learn: The ABC's of the ADA and Reasonable Accommodations

The Americans with Disability Act (ADA) is tricky and often requires that employers do or say things (like treat employees inconsistently) that seems contrary to all other advice you've heard. But it is a manageable law where compliance and best practices are "doable" and can create great opportunities for employers and employees alike. During this session, we will cover how to recognize when you have an ADA issue, what to do about it, and handling reasonable (and unreasonable) accommodations.

Speaker Julie M. Young Attorney Julie M. Young uses her 25 years of legal experience and HR expertise to help employers navigate the increasingly complex world of employment law.

Doors open at 11:30 for networking and lunch. Presentation from 12:00-1:00pm. Q&A session from 1:00-1:15pm.
